Pricing Examples

Epsilon's specialty is small, simple parts.  Here are a couple of examples of small, simple parts that we provide very competitive pricing for.

Example 1: Surf Wax Comb

Here we have an example of a Level 1 part.  It is a comb used to scrape and shape wax from surf boards.  It is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a durable and yet slightly flexible material. The HDPE is a good choice for this project because this part will be able to flex to the contour of the board and scrape the wax without damaging the surface of the board.

A tapered edge as well as a toothed edge were added for functionality, as well as a key chain hole.  A message was added to the front of the comb at no additional cost.
This part was designed by Epsilon for moldability.  It has appropriate draft to help the parts fall out of the mold and proper thicknesses to keep cooling times and tooling costs down.

Example 2: Bracket

Often we get requests for small components, brackets and spacers that fit within larger assemblies. These components are usually affixed onto something and hold another thing in place, or fill up space where an open area is not desirable.

Here could be an example of such a part. This part has features on both sides, making it a level 2. It has screw bosses and notched ribs.

ABS is the material of choice for this component.  Is it sturdy and rigid and works well when screws are needed to fasten things into place.
