Level 4 Tooling: Explaination

This part is similar to Level 3, but there are areas of both halves of the mold which extend into the other half. It also has a planar parting line.
Wall thickness’ for the entire part should be as uniform as possible. Draft of at least 1/2 degree should be incorporated throughout the part as well wherever possible, especially on interior areas of the parts where material will shrink as it cools.
