In order for us to provide you with firm pricing, we need the following:
- Your sketch, drawing, sample, prototype or 3D CAD model. Send 3D CAD files in any of the following formats: Solidworks, ProE, STEP, ParaSolid, ACIS, IGES, and several others. – Write IGES files as trimmed Nurb surfaces if you have the option. Please ZIP the files (WINZIP or similar utility-see link below if you need Winzip) and attach to e-mail. Unzipped IGES file attachments often do not work very well. NOTE: Do not send self-extracting (.exe) files. We will not open executable attachments.
- Finish and material desired – If you do not know, visit our pages on selection of materials and finishes, or give us some idea of what the part is used for and we will suggest possible choices. Color matching is possible but can significantly vary price and delivery.
- Quantity – We can run from 30 to millions of parts. For large quantity runs, we can be extremely aggressive with pricing. We can run as many as you need at a per part price. There is no additional setup charge as long as we run them with the initial order. NOTE: Parts can be run later as often as you need, as many as you need, even in different colors. There is a $350 setup charge plus part price for each new run. With minimum orders there is no setup charge.
- Schedule – Normal lead time is 2 – 8 weeks, depending on backlog, see our page on scheduling for more information. Expedited delivery may be available for additional cost.
