Level 5 Tooling: Explanation

Level 5 Molds do not have a planar split line. This includes parts with a small split line shut-off (such as a side opening for wires in a box half) as well as those parts with generally non-planar split lines.
Wall thickness’ for the entire part should be as uniform as possible. Draft of at least 1/2 degree should be incorporated throughout the part as well wherever possible, especially on interior areas of the parts where material will shrink as it cools.
